Who is responsible

YOUR COMPANY OR FULL NAME, YOUR COUNTRY, operates Lovely Hosting and is the controller of the data described here. Contact: support@example.com.

What we collect and why

  • Account: your email and a scrambled (hashed) password, to let you sign in. Before you pay, a visitor who uploads a site gets an anonymous guest record tied to a cookie and their IP address, used to limit abuse.
  • Your site's code: the files you upload, to build and host your site.
  • Payment: handled by Stripe. We never see your card number. We keep your Stripe customer reference and payment status.
  • Domain registration: your name, postal address, phone and email, because registries require the legal owner's details. These are passed to the registrar. Public lookup (WHOIS) privacy is applied where the domain ending supports it.
  • If you connect GitHub: an access token, stored encrypted, used only to read the repository you choose and to get notified when it changes.
  • Email: we send service messages only (sign-in links, payment and domain notices). No marketing.

Cookies

One essential cookie keeps you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Who processes data for us

Vercel (hosting, domain registration), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and file storage), Resend (email), and GitHub if you connect it. Some of these are in the United States and rely on standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Account and site data for as long as you have an account, and unpaid inactive sites up to 90 days. Payment records as long as tax law requires. Domain registration details for the life of the registration.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and sites by emailing support@example.com. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
