What does it cost to host a Lovable website on your own domain?
Publishing a Lovable site at a lovable.app address is free. The cost question starts when you want your own domain. Here are the options and what each one really costs.
Does Lovable host websites for free?
Yes, on a lovable.app address. Every Lovable project can be published there at no charge. What the free plan does not include is connecting your own domain, and free sites carry a small Lovable badge.
Option 1: upgrade Lovable
Lovable's paid plans include custom domains. At the time of writing they start at about $25 a month. You also get more AI credits and other features, so this makes sense if you would use those anyway. You still buy the domain separately, or through Lovable. Check their pricing page for current numbers.
Option 2: export and use a developer host
Hosting platforms for developers have free tiers that can run a Lovable export. The hosting can cost nothing. You pay in time: connecting GitHub, getting build settings right for Lovable's newer server-rendered projects, fixing images that are not part of the export, buying a domain elsewhere and entering DNS records. Free tiers also usually do not allow commercial sites.
Option 3: Lovely Hosting
